Charitable giving is a timeless tradition, a tangible reflection of our support for the institutions and causes that influence our lives.
Fortunately, charitable giving does not require great wealth. What it does require is generosity of spirit – the desire to share what you have for the benefit of others.
Many people each year express the desire to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the families of Kittitas County through a special gift to Kittitas Valley Healthcare (KVH).
Whether your interests lie in helping KVH provide crucial medical services to all members of the community or supporting a specific program or department, we are committed to ensuring that your gift makes a real and enduring impact.
A planned gift may take the form of an estate gift or life-income gift.
Examples of planned gifts include:
- Naming The Foundation at KVH in your estate plan (will or trust)
- Naming The Foundation at KVH as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or a retirement plan
- Gifts of stock, real estate, or securities
Leaving a gift to The Foundation at KVH in your will is easy; you may designate a certain dollar amount or you may leave a percentage of your estate. You can also bequeath a specific piece of property like a home, securities (for instance, stocks or mutual funds) or other financial asset.

"I expect to pass through life but once. If, therefore, there can be any
kindness I can show, or any good things I can do to any fellow human
being, let me do it now, and not defer it or neglect it, as I shall not
pass this way again." – William Penn
