KVH offers a comprehensive diabetes education program that is recognized by the American Diabetes Association. The educators at KVH are certified diabetes educators, or CDEs.
The KVH diabetes education program provides the latest information on nutrition and diabetes self-management training. Education is provided in a group class setting or individual appointments. Insurance billing is provided for classes and appointments. A physician referral is needed.

Diabetes classes are offered weekly at several KVH clinics and at KVH Hospital. Learning in a group setting is safe and informative without having to talk too much or give any personal information you don’t want to provide. Class length is typically one hour.
Class attendance requires pre-registration. Family and guests are welcome to attend any appointments or classes free of charge.
