Insurance coverage takes effect on the first day of the month following your date of hire. If the date of hire is the first working day of the month, coverage begins immediately. LTD takes effect after the first day of the month following 6 months of employment.
Registered Nurses who choose the per diem option, receiving 15% additional pay in lieu of benefits, are not eligible for benefits and may only change to a benefit eligible status once per year during the open enrollment period.
